Principal's Message

{title}
Hello and welcome to Houston Elementary School, home of the Huskies!
My name is Mark Hendry and I’m excited and honored to serve as your new principal.
The 2014-2015 school year will be my twenty-third in education and ninth year as an elementary school principal.
Originally from Florida, my family and I moved to South Carolina back in 1999. My wife, Kendra, is a high school English teacher and we are the proud parents of two children. Hayden, my son, recently graduated from the Citadel and our daughter, Haley, will be a sophomore at Clemson University this year. Our family is thrilled to be joining the Houston family!
