It is a pleasure to welcome you to Houston. The entire Houston Staff is excited to continue to offer excellent educational opportunities for each child. Please feel free to visit us often, have lunch with your child, call if you have any problems, and become an active and involved member of our school. Working together, all things are possible. Assistant Principal’s Greeting

Welcome to the new school year. I am extremely excited to be a new member of the Houston team! Please ask your child about our school-wide focus on The Pillars of Character. We are off to a wonderful start learning about Respect and Citizenship, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, and Fairness and Caring. You may want to display your blue Behavior Expectation Matrix in a high traffic area to use as a visual reminder and to help you with discussing these expectations with your child. We anticipate that this school year will be the best year ever at Houston Elementary! Please contact me if I can ever be of assistance to you. Our doors are always open and we look forward to working with you to help your child grow to reach his or her social, developmental, and academic potential.
